The United Nations Development Programme / Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP) would like to expand its roster of qualified civil engineers and architects from the Jerusalem area. |
| Description of Responsibilities: |
|---|
Conduct field visits to project sites to collect data and identify needs for rehabilitation/reconstruction activities.
Assist the engineering unit in performing socio-economic surveys to identify target beneficiaries.
Assist the beneficiaries in preparing the engineering designs and the scope of rehabilitation/reconstruction works.
Supervise the quality of the implemented works.
Prepare periodic reports progress reports
Any other related duties as may be required.

| Qualifications : |

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university with an experience ranging from 1-3 years
Fluency in English language
Computer skills, especially in AutoCAD
Have affinity with or interest in humanitarian relief, post-conflict situations, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.
